Using the money raised from the bake sale a couple of weeks ago, the World Love Organization club at CdM met together to discuss what to do with the funds. They chose from a list of other organizations to donate to. Many of the organizations had terrific causes, which made it harder to decide which charity to give some of the money to.

Some on the list included organizations that help feed malnourished children, protect the environment, and aid veterans. From voting, it was unanimous that everyone wanted to donate to the two feeding organizations – Feed the Children and Abandoned Children’s Fund. They donated $15 to Feed the Children, which in turn, can provide $75 worth of food and essentials to hungry children. The club also donated another $15 to Abandoned Children’s Fund, which in turn, can provide 150 meals to the children.

World Love Organization left the lunch meeting with great feelings of joy. It is incredible that small amounts of money can make such an outstanding impact on those who need help and the community. It is strongly encouraged for any student out there to spend a small amount of time just helping out and donating, even if it is just a penny. One day, people will be happy because someone helped them out, and that person could be the one reading this message.
